Our beloved “Father, Dad, Pops, Poppie” Allan Robert Stanley (Hap), age 69, died at his home on Monday, February 25th, 2008 following a courageous battle with heart disease.

He was born January 1st, 1939 in Eugene Oregon to the late George and Ethel Stanley. He graduated from South Eugene High School in 1957. Hap served in the U.S. Army and Marine Corp. On October 26th 1961 he was united in marriage to Frieda Geraldine Blair (Jerri) in Eugene Oregon.

Hap worked in law enforcement, corrections, and security. He enjoyed many hobbies; martial arts, amateur radio, boxing, motorcycles, and HO trains. He loved a good movie, a bag of buttered popcorn and a “Costco” hotdog.

Hap became a born again Christian in 1994. Since then his mission has been to spread the word through compassion by feeding the homeless, and ministering to those society had turned there back on. In 1997 he was ordained as a minister.

Hap is survived by his wife, Jerri, their children, daughter Gari Stanley, and son Troy and his wife Toni, son Nick and his wife Michele, son Scott and his wife Trina, daughter Sara and husband Randy Rowan, and son Jason and his wife Michelle.
