David Clyde Coons died Sept. 13, 2014, at his home in Washougal. He was 60.
He was born Jan. 26, 1954, in Long Beach, Calif., to Charles and Dorothy Eileen (Mayne) Coons. David honorably served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War era. He worked as a sales representative in the electronics industry. An avid Harley Davidson rider and enthusiast, David was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Tualatin, Ore., and the PDX Brew Club.
David is survived by his loving wife, Carol; daughters, Misty (Josh) Girod, Rebecca (Christopher) Juarez, and Heather (Shane) Coons-Robinson; son, Timothy (Jackie) Coons; mother, Dorothy “Eileen” Coons; sister, Debbie Booth; brothers, Dale (Pam) Coons and Duane Coons; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Coons and brother, Dan Coons.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m., at Calvary Community Church, 2717 N.E. Third Ave,, Camas. All County Cremation and Burial Services in Vancouver is in charge of arrangements. |
