Cotton Jr., Richard C. 64 Feb. 03, 1948 Aug. 08, 2012 Richard C. Cotton Jr. passed away Aug. 8, 2012 at the age of 64. He was born on Feb. 3, 1948 in Portland and was a lifelong Oregonian. He attended and graduated from Madison High School before serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. While in Vietnam, he served as a telephone line repairman, which ultimately became his lifetime career. He will be remembered for his witty personality and his love for spicy foods. Richard was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his son, Jason, of Los Angeles; daughter, Cameron, of Hillsboro; sister, Joan, of Keizer; brother, Carlos, of Salem; and nieces; and grandsons. A funeral will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. Arrangements By Springer And Son.
