Kenneth Hugh "Kenny" Cronin 
March 22, 1947 ~ November 6, 2013

Kenny Cronin of Vancouver, WA, age 66, passed away on November 6th, 2013 at his home. He was born on March 22, 1947 to Don and Pauline Cronin. He was the first born child and the oldest of 63 grandchildren. He graduated from Ferndale High School in 1965 and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He completed 2 tours in Vietnam and was a radioman on the USS Newport News. After the Navy, he went to work for Michigan Bell Telephone Company. He was an outside cable technician. He also worked for Pacific NW Bell, US West, and retired from Qwest Communications in January 2001.
In 1973, he met Judy and they were married on December 29, 1975 in Pontiac, MI. In May of 1977, they moved out west to Portland, OR and then to Vancouver in 1981. 
Kenny enjoyed boating and was a member of Clark Rifles where he liked to target practice and talk with all the other members. He loved having his family around him, especially the grand children. 
Kenny will be greatly missed by many.
Evergreen Staples Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. There will be a service for Kenny at St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA on Tuesday, November 19th at 11:00 a.m. Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Lunch following in the hall. Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
