 As an Electronics Technician 2, Jim served as a radio communications specialist from January, 1970 to August, 1977. Jim lost his battle with lung cancer.

Hair, James Alan 64 July 23, 1950 Feb. 05, 2015 Jim passed away Feb. 5, 2015, in his home surrounded by family after a brave battle with lung cancer. Jim was born in Parkrose and graduated from Parkrose High School in 1968. He joined the U.S. Navy and served at Navocommunit Naval Base in Key West, Fla., as a radio communications specialist from Jan. 14, 1970 to Aug. 13, 1977, when he was honorably dis- charged. He worked for Clackamas Educational Service District as an electronics technician until he retired. Jim was a devoted and loving father for his four children; 13 grandchildren; brothers, and ex-wife, He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Hillside Chapel with a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, in Willamette National Cemetery.
