Thomas Rutledge of Welches, Ore., died peacefully in his home Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, after an 18-month battle with brain cancer. He was 64.
Tom was born on Feb. 27, 1947, to Dale L. and Zela V. Rutledge and raised in Gleneden Beach. He attended Taft grade school and high school, graduated from Salem High School and attended Western Oregon University.
