Jose Ortiz is the other Marine in the picture and as I've said, the picture reflects a time shortly before Christmas 1969 when we had just come back in to An Hoa after suffering major casualties from a landmine that killed 7 brothers Marines on Dec 21th. Morale was real low so we were trying real hard to remember the "WORLD" for a moment.
